The bucket list is a way to show that you have goals which may seem impossible. These goals are a reflection of how we view the world. The Bucket List has a scene where the actors realize that they must find people who can help them reach their goal. Climbing Mount Everest and skydiving are examples of items on a bucket list. I am sure that at one point or another in our lives we have made a list of things we would like to do. They could be called goals for our personal lives. My bucket list includes travel the world, do a good deed for no reward, and become a criminal profiler. Goals can range from economic pleasure to a career choice or even the chance to become a more human. Bucket-list items are not necessarily activities we would like to complete in our lifetime, but rather life improvements that are important but hard to obtain.

Since I was a child, my dream has been to travel the world. As a child, I was unable to see beyond my small hometown. After traveling to different countries and experiencing the stunning beauty of waterfalls, rainforests, and sunsets on the ocean, you realize there are more things in this world that you can experience. However, the desire to explore is still there. If I hadn’t seen this when I first started, I wouldn’t have been as eager to travel when I got older. I also would have had a more difficult time balancing work and family. Traveling would be less appealing to me if I didn’t have the desire to do it. When I imagined myself in my favorite location or the place I wanted to go, I would stand there for the entire day, observing the environment and the place. The first thing that came to mind was “This is freedom, This is life, This is what i need, and this is what i longed to experience”. I want myself to be doing the things I’ve always wanted to. If given the chance, I choose Paris. Then I do all that is in my plan.

Second, I have always been touched by people who do good things without expecting anything back. When I lived in Puerto Rico people used to ask at the traffic signals for money, clothing, food – anything. I was moved to give money or food after seeing people in such poor conditions. I can’t stand by and watch them struggle. By doing good, you help someone. These generous people have helped the homeless man to get food. This person has received some assistance. The person who received the good deed or random act of kindness got more help than a simple meal. The message he got was that he’s important and deserves to be helped. He is also filled up with food.

Third, becoming a criminal profiler was always my dream. Since I first started watching Lie to me, this show has inspired and motivated me to do something that can help others find justice. The scientist behind Lie To Me has a speciality in interpreting and detecting “micro” or fleeting facial expressions. If you’re trying to find out if someone else is lying, this skill can be very useful. Dr. Lightman is a consultant who runs a firm in Washington, D.C., from where he and his three assistants travel the area to solve mysteries for police, FBI, and anyone else that needs a lie-detector. Law Enforcement agencies depend on Criminal Profiler for help in identifying suspects. Profilers analyze the evidence and testimony of witnesses to create a psychological picture of a suspect. It allows the law enforcement officials who are searching for suspects to concentrate their efforts on those that fit into this profile. Profilers usually have a background in psychology, behavioral science or criminal justice.

After all, if I could accomplish these three things, I would feel proud of myself. I was able to achieve what I set out to do. The movie was great because it taught me how to deal with life and the challenges it brings. It also showed the importance of having the right attitude and being able to cope with them. Even though they had reached the end of their lives, they still set goals for themselves and went ahead with them despite not feeling well. It encourages you to enjoy life every day, and to have goals to motivate you and keep you moving forward. It gives a reason to be excited.
